Prayer and Personal Ministry

Many come to church exhausted from the week’s battles of faith, possibly in need of a healing touch or amidst challenging situations. We hold the belief that God’s presence will envelop us during worship. We urge all to engage fervently in worship. Raising hands, singing, shouting, clapping – these are all biblical forms of worship. How do we pray and provide ministry to everyone in our Sunday services?

  • During Worship:  We frequently invite those that need prayer, during worship, usually during our last song, to simply raise their hands.  Our pastor and those around you will come to you and pray with you.
  • During Alter Calls:  Additionally, we often invite those in need of prayer or personal ministry to join us at the altar during the final song. Our dedicated prayer and ministry team will pray with you and stand in agreement with your needs. We are here to support you and your family through whatever challenges you may face.
  • Call for the Elders:  James 5:14-16 states, “If any among you are ill, they should summon the church elders to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the Lord’s name. The faithful prayer will heal the sick, and the Lord Jesus will lift them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” Please contact us throughout the week or during services, and our elders will come together to pray for you.
  • During Small Groups:  We have several small groups where folks gather for friendship, community, prayer and to socialize.  Every small group prays together.
